It can be scrollable. And can't icons just be overlaid in the corner a'la Lion Mission Control?
It could be scrollable, but expose isn't scrollable so you're mixing metaphors. And it's not just about whether you can fit more than 9 apps - what if you're using bulky apps and can only keep 7 apps in memory at once (the iPad 1 had less memory, remember)? You're putting up invisible walls in your interface.
Little icons in the corner is one option, although in a way making the icon a sub-feature of the window implies that multiple windows could be associated with that icon, which isn't true. Even if you don't agree, it is just one alternative, and it would be presented along with all the other prototypes, and Apple apparently decided the multitasking pane was better. Expose isn't always an evolution.
The current implementation is also inconsistent in the UI department, in that the same action and will result in two different actions.
In some cases, a hold > jiggle > close will result in an app shutting down, and other times the same action set (hold > jiggle > close) will result in an app being deleted.
Are you arguing that the multitasking pane doesn't have clear differentiation from the home screen? I thought giving it a different texture, pushing the home screen up out of the way, and requiring a quick double-press to bring it up accomplished that.

The button for the MacBook trackpad is on the bottom. Most of the trackpad clicks, but not the top. ;)

Oooh... looks like we have the faux small-government types coming in! If you're worried about wasting of money, keep in mind that your government spends way more money on propaganda launched at you and empire-building than it does on the federal trade commission.

I don't want to spend money on wars, empire building, bailing out banks, paying for ever expanding social programs, propaganda campaigns, the FTC, The FCC, The ATF, the whatever commission we'll implement this week to take care of a make believe problem, OR trying to regulate my app purchases because one of my kids might rack up a bill. I'll take care of my kids, money, and app purchases without government intervention ,thank you. How's that for Faux?

If you turn off 3G, do you get the correct time?
I haven't tried that yet, but I did turn off my automatic time and it went to the correct time then I turned it back on (thinking that it would re-sync) but it didn't.
Well I have power cycled my phone now and it switched to the right time after it connected into the network, but has since fell back an hour.

I understand what most of you are saying, and for the most part agree. I'm still using my D70s, and getting pics that still get compliments from people. On the other hand, I've been wanting a 70-200 for a while now. Not sure if this falls under the superfluous 'let's-buy-more-gear' mentality, or the 'i-want-to-try-new-type-of-vision' mentality.
What do you think?

If you don't like it then just make sure you customize the privacy features in your account info.
I suggest this because your friends can 'tag' you in at a location even if you aren't there.
ie - pretend that you are at a stripclub and send it out to everyone......believe me, some people's friends will do stuff like this as a joke....and some will do it out of spite.
Could make for some funny encounters.....HS kids are going to get a huge kick out of this...

Well, I own iWork, and here's my .02...
Pages seems to be a cool app. The templates look really cool, and would really spice up various documents I write for school and elsewhere, where before I simply had text and nothing else. But as a pure word processor, my first impression is that Pages blows. I admit I haven't used it more than about 30 minutes, but I wasn't impressed at all.
And no, I don't even have Microsoft Office (well I had Office v.X, but it's not installed... thinking of it, I'm not sure where the CD is...). I use TextEdit, which, since it's update with Panther, serves perfectly for my word processing needs, which is extremely modest.

There is. It is called "QEMU" It is free and Open Source.
On your G5/G4 processor you can
emulate the following Intel x86, ARM, SPARC, MIPS and Power PC.

Yes and no. There is a "new" Dashboard for waggle controls...I mean Kinetic, allowing easy motion access to things like FB, movies, movies and the basics. However, it'll be controller driven for the main part still.

All of the features in this xbox should have been included in the original, like the ps3. I want one, but will wait for mine to die in 2-3 years.

Many thanks for the juicy pics and all your efforts. Unfortunately tonight I'll sing a sad sad sad sad song learning what you've posted. I'm seriously almost afraid to learn Snow Leopard Server and will need to re-evaluate if that $21xx course & certification exam will be worth it - considering I live in Canada - I don't know of any major corporations running an all OS X business model & infrastructure.
Wait: I had another thought.
Back in the days of AIX didn't Apple ship such a server (Workgroup Server running this)? When it was cancelled like the XServe now ... did Apple eventually kill off the server specific software/OS (either or both) shortly after or has there ALWAYS been a server software?
